We offer Das Jahr (The Year), a stunning, extended work for solo piano by Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, based on the cyclical nature of time. We’ll break up the months with seasonings of vocal quartets by Hensel and Clara Schumann– adding a bit of spice to the commemoration of a year gone by.
