Joined by the Cerici Quartet, Cappella clausura visits the unique and stunning repertoire by northern Italian nuns in the early baroque period. The ensemble will also premiere two new pieces, one by Patricia Van Ness and the other by Suzanne Sheppard. And of course the standard bearer of women composers, Hildegard von Bingen with her extraordinary chant.
